OUR ACTIVITIES IN 2004-2005

 The activities of Shri Ram Krishna Sewa Sadan and Shri Ram Krishna Cancer Hospital during the Year 2004-2005 are as following:

 1-BUILDING EXPANSION

During the year 2002-2003 an addition of the Building OPD was added with a cost of Rs. 16,06,657.59/- while in 2003-2004 an addition of Office cum OPD unit was done with Rs. 4,82,275.00 and in 2004-2005 an addition of Building, Pathology Unit and the big boundary expansion took place. Boundary of the premises 540 meters long was constructed 3 meters high from the plinth area .Foundation  of Six Rooms were made ready for further construction covering area 4125 sq. feet. Two rooms for Radio-Diagnostic Unit, Two for Indoor Facility, and Two for Cancer Unit-Gynecology. The total amount of Rs.7, 43,866.00 was expanded for Building. Electrical Goods addition of Rs. 8,156.00 was made. However our project during the year is to add maximum to the building.

2-ADDITION IN PATHOLOGY AND RADIOLOGY

An addition in Laboratory was made with RS.3, 77,780.00. A bio chemical OZONE USA analyzer was installed for providing the patients with better results of Biochemical and Hematological results. A digital X-Ray 100 mA was installed @ Rs. 1, 11,705.00.A furniture worth Rs.18940 was added to the Laboratory. This diagnostic unit was inaugurated by His Excellency Shri Umadhar Dweivedi Ji, District Magistrate, Saharanpur, U.P.

 3-FREE MEDICAL CAMPS

Free medical camps regarding Diabetes and Heart care, Tuberculosis and Leprosy Control, Cancer and Aids Detection and Anemia and Liver Function Detection Camps were organized in Campus. Medicines of Rs. Were distributed as provided by the following donors. Otherwise, the medicines purchased and distributed was of RS.1,51,353.30/-

 4- DIABETES CONTROL& HEART CARE PROGRAM

Living life style these days has fired the life with dreadful diseases like Diabetes and Heart problems. Sadan and Cancer Hospital jointly has entered this project to serve those poor patients who are unable to get treated in hospitals where the costs are too high. We have treated 2138 heart and Diabetes patients this year and who are under treatment. We provide free sugar tests with our Baeyers Reader and Ozone Analyzer and if needed LFT. Lipids Profile, Se. Creatinine, Se. Urea, Hb, etc are also examined free of cost.

 5-TUBERCULOSIS AND LEPROSY ERADICATION PROGRAM

Tuberculosis and Leprosy is again a problem among the poor families where proper nutrition is a great problem. We are providing facilities to the patients with X-Ray detection, Sputum tests and blood assays to meet out the problem. However, Govt. is to propensity to serve these patients through its program DOT, we think that we can also serve the society specially that of the weaker section by providing facilities free of cost. Total Number of treatments was 1209.

 6-CANCER RELIEF FUND

Cancer Relief Fund is a Fund organized by the Cancer Hospital to serve those patients for whom we have no facilities and we are to refer them to AIIMS or some higher centers. This year total medical aid given was of RS. 40,717.00 This fund requires a strong support.

7-UPAVAN THE MEDICINAL SANCTUARY

Upavan- is our medical plants sanctuary which is being developed 3.5 bighas in the last of the campus.The Number of donors are as follows-including the one time donor also.

All these plants are fairly used in treatment of Cancer, Diabetes, Tuberculosis, and Leprosy. The donors may donate Rs. 12450.00 for one plant, and its caretaking and service. Also we need a land separate to these 3.5 bighas for big trees of medicine which is a cost of Rs. 50 Lacs.

8-RESEARCH IN HOMEOPATHY:PROGRESS AND ACHIVEMENTS

Research, condensing the whole gamut, is a very difficult question and work out. We are doing our best of performance with Homeopathy as this is the only alternate system which can give a cure to Cancer and AIDS. Our advisor, Dr. A.B.Dey, Professor of Geriatrics, AIIMS, New Delhi, and Dr. B.K.Mohanti, Prof. of Radiation Oncology, AIIMS has made us to enter this subject. Dr. S.D.Pundir, BHMS from Jaipur University is performing the work with all labor and cured many Cancer Patients. We are ready to apply to DSIR for our projects approval which will be soon obtained.

9-RESEARCH IN AYURVEDA: PROGRESS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Diabetes mellitus, Diabetes Insipidus, Leprosy, Tuberculosis, Heart Troubles and Arthritis are the subjects of Research. Dr. Sudhir Tyagi and Dr. T.K.Chakravorty are doing their best. So far the achievements are concerned we have been successful in covering Fibrosis in Tuberculosis, controlling Arthritis, controlling heart diseases and blocks (Ischemia) , lowering doses of Insulin by Ayurveda, and cure of Diabetes in its primary stage, and finally the revival of Cancer after chemotherapy and radiotherapy. This project is also subject to DSIR.

 10-MEDITATION AND YAGYA PROGRAM BY THE INSTITUTE OF ONCOLOGICAL AND CELLULAR CARE & RESEARCH

This unit is the holistic unit of the Sadan, curing the patients with the Veda Mantras, Yagyas and upasanas and Yoga. The aim behind it is to make familiar the public our conventional and scientific methods. We have been successful in covering more than 108 patients suffering from Diabetes, Tuberculosis, CML, and Jaundice. Yagya is a process, a scientific method that causes Rejuvenation of the Cells-Kayakalpa through Rasayans and Yoga.

11: OUR DAIRY AND GOSHALA

Our Goshala has 27 cows in all. The milk is used in making Ghee for medicines for Arthritis, Leukemia, and Tuberculosis. Cow urine is also used in preparing medicines.

12:GENERAL WELFARE PROGRAM

1803 Children and women were distributed sweaters and spectacles free of cost. And in this big work, Smt. Veena Hora, Smt. Sushil Arora, Srimati Kusum Tyagi, Bhagini Arati, Purobi Chakravorty, Sri A.K.Chakravorty helped us by providing us material for the distribution. We are thankful to all donors who have helped us in this work of charity.

13-HELPING PATIENTS THROUGH WEBSITE:FREE ADVICES

231 patients were advised through our website www.cancerfreeindia.org  under free online prescription. The patients belonged to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Algeria, Indonesia, Washington, Cleveland, Omaha, New York and London. You can visit our all activities on www.ramkrishnasewasadn.org
